The late Mr. Christos Petrou served as Executive Director of the Foundation from 2008 to 2025, playing a pivotal role in its establishment, development and continuous advancement.

Through his dedication, professionalism and deep commitment to aviation safety, he contributed greatly to the promotion of the Foundation’s mission, the organization of its activities and the strengthening of its cooperation with national and international aviation stakeholders. His valuable service, vision and lasting contribution remain an integral part of the Foundation’s history.
