FSF – SE – EUROPE – CYPRUS is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in Cyprus in 2008 and registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
Our vision is to establish Cyprus as a leading regional centre for aviation safety, education and international cooperation, while contributing to the continuous advancement of aviation across Southeast Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East through innovation, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships.
The Flight Safety Foundation – Southeast Europe – Cyprus (FSF–SE–Europe–Cyprus) is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of aviation safety by fostering a strong safety culture, supporting education and professional training, encouraging the implementation of European and international aviation policies, standards and best practices, and strengthening cooperation among aviation stakeholders throughout Southeast Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Working in close cooperation with public authorities, industry, academia and international organizations, the Foundation serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development and regional collaboration, contributing to safer, more resilient and sustainable aviation.
Over the years, FSF – SE – EUROPE – CYPRUS has organized numerous international conferences, seminars and professional forums, bringing together distinguished speakers and participants from across the global aviation industry. Its events have featured senior representatives of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), ECAC, EASA, EUROCONTROL, IFATCA, IFALPA, AEA, ERA, as well as government officials, aviation executives, regulators and internationally recognized experts.

Through strong and long-standing partnerships with international organisations, civil aviation authorities and leading academic institutions, the Foundation has successfully organised a wide range of international conferences, seminars and professional training events featuring distinguished speakers and experts from around the world.
These collaborations promote the exchange of knowledge, the dissemination of best practices and the strengthening of international cooperation in support of aviation safety, innovation and professional excellence.
The Foundation has cooperated with leading organisations and institutions, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), EUROCONTROL, International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations (IFATCA), International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA), JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO), Ente Nazionale per l’Aviazione Civile (ENAC), ENAV S.p.A., the Department of Civil Aviation of Cyprus (CAA Cyprus), as well as Coventry University and Purdue University.
Since its establishment, the Foundation has maintained a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus. It has also concluded cooperation agreements with the Romanian Aerospace Association, the Fisher Institute (Israel) and the ICAO European Regional Office.
The Flight Safety Foundation – Southeast Europe – Cyprus is supported through government funding and the valued contributions of leading organisations, including Hermes Airports, PPT Aviation Services, Galatariotis Technical Limited and ALLWYN.
