International Conference – Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Civil and Military Aviation
The FSF-SE- EUROPE- CYPRUS organised an International Conference entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Civil and Military Aviation.”
The conference was addressed by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Alexis Vafeades, the President of the Board of Directors, Captain Chrysanthos Chatzichrysantou, and the Secretary, Mr. Nikos Lyrakidis.
During the conference, the organisation honoured Air Traffic Controllers for their valuable contribution to the critical field of aviation and their essential role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of air transport. The commemorative award was received on their behalf by Mr. Konstantinos Yiannappas.
The conference brought together distinguished experts and representatives from leading international aviation and research organisations, including EUROCONTROL, CANSO, IFATCA, JAA TO, Purdue University, CERTH, SATCO, IATA, ENAC, Qatar Airways and the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA).
The speakers shared their expertise and insights on the opportunities and challenges presented by Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in civil and military aviation, highlighting the importance of innovation, resilience and international cooperation in safeguarding the future of aviation.
